Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

There is lots going on in our humble abode. Justin and I have been working to finish some ongoing projects, while planning the next one! First, here are some updated pictures of the office and hallways.

Incase you don’t remember what the floor looked like before…

And after…

We will be moving our current furniture in the office shortly, as we hope to begin tearing down the wallpaper in the living room very soon! I wish I could say this is our next planned project, but it’s not…

Here are some pictures of the hallways with two coats of the finished Antique White. But, incase you forget what it once looked like…

And after!

There are lots of things still to finish. Including getting rid of that icky carpet downstairs! Although we’ve been using it as a drop cloth for all of our painting projects, we do hope to replace it with hardwood once we renovate the dining room and kitchen. We have some more painting to do, and eventually hope to refinish the stairs, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves! 😉

The next project we have planned is, drumroll please! ….The BATHROOM! Our upstairs bathroom is 100% outdated. It needs a complete gut job. We have been planning this project for quite a while. We ordered a new toilet, countertop, sink, fixtures and vanity many weeks ago. Many of our items came in this week, which will allow us to get started! We are extremely fortunate, as my aunt works at F.W. Webb. She has been able to get us some incredible deals on different things. For example, our vanity is worth just under $4,000. Because it is a leftover item from last year, we only had to pay $200. Like I said, INCREDIBLE!

I want to share some pictures of our current bathroom, in it’s outdated state!

Note the wallpaper? We seriously can’t escape it anywhere…

I told you, it’s pretty bad. But fortunately, all of our reno goodies are in, and it’s like Christmas in our house! This week we went to our favorite store, Lowes, to pick out our tile. I was so excited to be there (it’s been a while) that I of course took pictures. Here is a sneak peak of some of the things we’ve chosen for our new bathroom!

Which one will we choose?!

And last but not least!

Now that’s it! The next post will (fingers crossed) be a renovated bathroom!
